Call for Papers / Call for Training

We are happy to announce the CFT / CFP for the third edition of TyphoonCon. The aim of TyphoonCon 2020 is to bring security researchers together through lectures, networking events and training sessions. The conference will be constructed as a single track of talks for two full days as well as technical training held in the three days before the conference.

Conference dates: June 18th-19th, 2020

Training dates: June 15th-17th, 2020

  • Attacks on cryptography in hardware and/or software

Talk Submission

Your submission should include the following details:

  • Name, last name and contact details
  • Brief bio
  • Place of residence
  • Past speaking experience
  • Presentation topic and description

Important notes:

Speaker submissions will be accepted until 15th April 2020, 08:00 South Korea time.

Talks will be 30 minutes or 60 minutes including questions.

Talks must be in English.

When planning your talk, please aim for a 20 – 45 minutes talk which will leave enough time for demonstrations and questions.

Your submission should include the following details:

  • Training topic and description
  • Training outline and agenda – we will accept drafts and proposal that are not final

Important notes:

Training submissions will be accepted until 15th February 2020, 08:00 South Korea time.

Training will be 3 days.

Training must be in English.

Training will be reviewed on based on the FIFO algorithm (first in, first out – we will be accepting speakers before the final date), therefore, make sure to get in your submission early to increase your chance of being selected.
